Make a hundred AI images, then prove you can pick the twelve that belong together. Pick one look, and make sure every image matches it, closely enough that a stranger can tell at a glance they all belong to the same series. Making images is easy now. Picking the right twelve is the real skill, and that part is yours.
You're done when: Twelve images a stranger can instantly see are one set (chosen out of many, all given the same look), and you can say why each one earned its place against the idea you wrote down. Choosing is the work: not "I made some cool images," but "these twelve hold together, and I can say why."
How this shows up on a resume or college app
I art-directed a 12-image visual series with a signature style, generating a hundred options and curating down to the twelve that held together against my concept. I learned that AI gives you a million options and the real work is developing the taste to pick twelve.

Pick your one idea and write it down
Pick your one idea and write a paragraph about it: what your series is about and how you want it to look. Every image you make later has to match this paragraph.

Make 50 to 100 images
Make a LOT of images (50 to 100), changing what you type each time to get closer to your look. Around number 40 it'll feel repetitive and you'll want to stop. Keep going. The real work isn't making the images, it's choosing which twelve to keep later.

Choose your best 12, and make them all match
The real work: choose the 12 images from your whole pile that best match your idea, not the ones that just look cool. Be ready to say why you cut each one you dropped. Then edit all twelve so they look like they belong together.

Post it + close
Put your twelve images online (Instagram, a free web page, or all twelve in one document) and share them. See which images people respond to, and whether they can tell all twelve belong together.
